The Classification Manager is a civilian personnel employee assigned to the Intake and Processing division of the Orleans Justice Center. The Classification Manager is primarily responsible for supervising the classification specialist staff to ensure that staff conduct appropriate intake interviews to assess needs regarding residence, employment, education, drug/alcohol, mental health problems, and past and present involvement in the criminal justice system.
