About The Position

TeleSolv Consulting has an immediate opportunity to work with the Federal Government as a Federal Acquisition Specialist for one of our clients. This is an ONSITE position based in Washington, DC.

Requirements

  • Expert understanding of federal acquisition lifecycle management.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills suited to audit-ready environments.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities in deadline-driven settings.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills appropriate for senior government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Provide full cradle-to-grave Contract Specialist support for federal acquisitions.
  • Independently prepare, review, and process acquisition documents, including acquisition plans, solicitations, awards, modifications, and justifications.
  • Interpret and apply the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and agency-specific procurement policies.
  • Support procurements using FAR Parts 8, 12, 13, 15, and 16, including BPAs and IDIQ vehicles.
  • Utilize government contract-writing systems (e.g., PRISM) and procurement databases (e.g., FPDS, SAM.gov).
  • Prepare briefing materials and route acquisition packages through required approval channels.
  • Maintain strict adherence to Operational Security (OPSEC) requirements.
  • Review and analyze spreadsheets, pricing data, and acquisition documentation.
  • Coordinate with program offices, legal counsel, and contracting officers to ensure timely and compliant outcomes.
  • FAC-C (Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting) or DAWIA certification.
  • Continuing education in federal acquisition, ethics, or procurement law.
  • Training in OPSEC, procurement integrity, or acquisition compliance.
