About The Position

Responsible for all FEA activities at YUSA Corporation. The individual will be expected to be able to communicate well internally and externally with Yamashita groups other FEA teams. The expectation is that this individual will grow the FEA capability at the company through effective use of software, a more sufficient material library, and an aggressive approach to learning and innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical Engineering or related (emphasis on FEA preferred)
• Some level of FEA experience (work or school) required.
• Good communication will be required.
• Continued learning

Nice To Haves

• Work Experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience with Abaqus (FEA) specifically and/or general rubber FEA will be highly valued.
• Experience with CATIA (CAD) and Endurica (fatigue) are also favored.

Responsibilities

• Utilize software packages such as CATIA (basic), Abaqus, and Endurica to analyze (rubber) part function, characteristics, and durability performance.
• Grow the company's material library through knowledge of/or willingness to learn the process and equipment for internal (at YUSA) material testing and/or coordination of outside testing.
• Provide guidance for software and hardware requirements.
• Continued learning and growth in rubber FEA
