General Summary: The Marketing Planner drives the development and execution of marketing plans and strategies as it relates to promotional marketing in coordination with their LOB’s merchant VP and merchants for print, digital and in-store promotions. This role’s primary focus is the building and execution of programs and promotions to drive incremental sales and margin, improve the Family Dollar brand, and create loyalty in our customers hand in hand with the company merchants. After shopper marketing programs and/or promotional events are complete, the individual(s) in this role will review results and present impactful findings to merchandising partners and leaders. As such, the Marketing Planner is critical to the ongoing innovation and improvement of marketing planning and strategy.
