About The Position

In this position... The Ford Customer Service Division (FCSD) is a critical profit engine for the company, responsible for the parts, service, and ownership experience that keeps our customers moving. As the FCSD Finance Manager for US Revenue Management, you will step into a high-impact role with significant "white space" to innovate. This critical role is central to maximizing FCSD's revenue potential through strategic financial planning, in-depth analysis, and the implementation of robust revenue management strategies. Combining strong financial acumen with a deep understanding of market dynamics, this position directly drives profitability, optimizes pricing, and significantly enhances overall financial performance. As a key member of an agile Finance team, you will collaborate with cross-functional partners, leveraging revenue management principles to exert significant influence and contribute directly to the bottom line. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader, ready to apply exceptional business acumen, leadership skills, and controllership capabilities. This high-visibility opportunity offers invaluable experience at the intersection of strategic thought leadership, collaborative business partnering, and advanced technical finance skills. This position also includes leadership responsibilities for four direct reports and a total team size of 12.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
  • Experience in demand planning, operations controllership/support, and/or product distribution financial management.
  • Demonstrated record of challenging the status quo to drive a strategic vision; ability to influence and anticipate challenges and chart a path forward.
  • Strong people leadership skills with the ability to provide clear and constructive feedback to direct reports and experience in proactively building a high-performing team.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent assignments; recognize changing priorities and flexibility to react to changes as needed.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; high emotional intelligence and courage to do what’s right for the business.
  • Adept at using natural curiosity and autonomy to work in white space.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA with a concentration in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
  • CPA and/or CFA certification is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering exceptional results with the ability to multi-task in the face of ambiguity and a rapidly expanding/changing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive revenue optimization strategies, including dynamic pricing models, promotional activities, and inventory management, to maximize profitability and market share.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and demand forecasts to make data-driven decisions and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Provide input to sales plans and revenue targets, monitoring performance through key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align revenue goals and ensure effective execution of strategies.
  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of revenue forecasts, budgets, and detailed financial reports.
  • Conduct financial analysis to provide insights into business performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
  • Manage performance against budget, highlighting concerns and opportunities to senior management.
  • Evaluate financial reporting systems and make recommendations for changes to procedures, operating systems, and financial control functions.
  • Utilize advanced data analysis tools for accurate forecasting, optimization, and reporting.
  • Extract valuable insights from complex datasets and translate them into actionable strategies to optimize revenue generation.
  • Continuously improve revenue management models to ensure targets are achieved.
  • Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making within the team and across FCSD.
