About The Position

The Fatherhood Program Manager works closely with agency staff and leadership to support delivery of services through the Project Fatherhood and ECE programs, and the implementation of CII’s strategic plan. Builds relationships with community-based organizations, partners, stakeholders, and state/federal subject matter experts to drive the growth of the Community programs that further CII’s reputation and service delivery in the community. Ensures that CII services and supports align with and further CII’s commitment to equity for all participants and that the Community programs meet their stated objectives and outcomes. DUTIES SUMMARY The Fatherhood Program Manager works closely with agency staff and leadership to support delivery of services through the Project Fatherhood and ECE programs, and the implementation of CII’s strategic plan. Builds relationships with community-based organizations, partners, stakeholders, and state/federal subject matter experts to drive the growth of the Community programs that further CII’s reputation and service delivery in the community. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work or related field required.
  • 2-3 years of managerial and/or supervisory experience.
  • Valid driver's license and state-required auto insurance or reliable access to transportation depending on business needs.
  • Required to travel extensively (>50% of the time).
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Maintains client privacy, including protecting the confidentiality, safeguarding the integrity and availability, and limiting the use and disclosure of patient Protected Health Information (PHI) to authorized individuals and entities.
  • Participates in, conducts, and sustains performance quality improvement activities according to designated role and responsibilities.
  • Sensitivity to service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
  • Free from alcohol and drug abuse.
  • Understands CII’s basic philosophy and participates fully in carrying out its mission.
  • Advanced knowledge proficiency of computer programs in a Windows environment, including Word, Excel, and E-mail.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the equity, integrity, quality, and impact of all assigned programs.
  • Seeks opportunities to build strong relationships with local community organizations, government agencies and individuals to promote CII programs and explore collaborations.
  • Represents and speaks for CII at community meetings.
  • Ensures assigned programs are in compliance with all agency policies and procedures including adhering to all state and/or federal funding requirements.
  • Creates training activities to support and evaluate the effectiveness of the program models.
  • In collaboration with agency leadership, ensures accountability with the strategic plan and initiatives.
  • Ensures continuous availability of supervision, consultation, and support as required during normal work hours.
  • Ensures timely, high-quality documentation of services in accordance with all CII and contractual requirements.
  • Directs development and implementation of comprehensive, coordinated service plans for all covered families.
  • Regularly reviews program data to ensure CII’s quality of care and programmatic fidelity to standards of care; adjusts training and support as needed.
  • Manages collection of process and outcome data and utilizes the data to improve program procedures, identify needs, and highlight program successes.
  • Provides input on the development of program budgets; reviews and approves payment of expenses at the Manager level ensuring compliance with approved budgets.
  • Manages assigned programs so they meet revenue and other goals.
  • Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the direct reports.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
