About The Position

This position will work alongside SAN DIEGO'S General Manager to generate traffic through new and exclusive events, oversee the local fan space team, and work directly with Senior Management to uphold and maintain business expectations and standards in the absence of the GM. Weekend Work is Expected

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; higher education preferred.
Proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets.
Genuine interest in K-pop music and content.
2-3 years of managerial experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
2-3 years of retail experience.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to think quickly and creatively, using both data and intuition to make decisions.
Proven ability to lead a team of 8+ and work closely with project managers to create a welcoming and engaging environment for K-pop fans nationwide.
Experience with Shopify or similar POS system.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in Spanish Language is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Assists in leading daily Fan Space operations to drive customer volume, loyalty, and retention.
Assists in Leading, managing, and coaching a team of 5-8 employees.
Assumes leadership and communication responsibilities in absence of General Manager.
Work directly with General Management to accomplish quarterly goals and uphold brand standards.
Track and merchandise inventory using a variety of data and organizational methods.
Track and report daily sales and activity within the space.
Build and nurture relationships while maintaining positive rapport with the local K-pop community.
Assist in Creative Tasks including but not limited to asset installation, minor fabrication, and painting.
