The Minnesota Vikings Fan Experience Internship program aims to create relationships with aspiring sports and hospitality professionals. Students will receive the opportunity for development of their professional skills within guest relations, ticket operations, and premium services, further allowing them to network with seasoned professionals to achieve their career goals. The Guest and Premium Experience teams will oversee the operations of the program, while each role will report to different managers on Gameday specifically to their role (i.e. Events, Premium Experience, etc). Gameday roles will be assigned to each candidate upon completion of the interview process and acceptance into the program. Beyond game day, interns participate in a robust professional development curriculum designed to build confidence, skills, and industry knowledge. Interns will also have opportunities to gain experience across other Vikings events and initiatives such as Minnesota Vikings Training Camp, where they will support guest experience, engage fans, and assist with operational activities. GAMEDAY ROLE SUMMARIES: Vikings Ambassador: From the time that gates open, to kick-off, to game end, the Vikings Ambassador will help with any necessary mobile ticketing, security, or guest relations needs at U.S. Bank Stadium. After kickoff, the Vikings Ambassadors will assist fans on the concourses, aid the guest relations booths, work season ticket member activations, and help to assess the overall game day experience through observation. Hype Team Member: These individuals will be responsible for getting our fans and team members excited for game day. Through interacting with fans and rewarding and recognizing our team members, these individuals will bring joy and energy on game day. Additionally, they are responsible for creating intentional and special experiences for our fans through surprise and delight opportunities. Activation Assistant: Our activation assistants will help ensure that different activations for our Partnership Marketing, Experiential Youth Marketing, Minnesota Vikings Foundation, and Events team are properly operating and providing our fans with a memorable experience Vikings Black Jacket: The responsibility of a Black Jacket is to engage with all premium guests inside the many suite and club spaces at U.S. Bank Stadium. There will be opportunities for interns in either Clubs or Suites. Those assigned to suites will be tasked with getting to know the game-to-game contacts for their respective premium space. They will serve as hosts, updating guests on important game day information and learning how they can enhance the game day experience. In Clubs, they are expected to greet guests and interact with them throughout the season, fostering relationships with season ticket members and taking diligent notes to be given to the Vikings premium team.
