Family Therapist / Counselor - Homebuilders (Pierce County)
About The Position
The Institute for Family Development (IFD) is an international leader in providing services that keep children safe, strengthen families, and reduce out of home placement. We provide a range of in-home counseling services, including the HOMEBUILDERS® model of Intensive Family Preservation Services, Functional Family Therapy, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and more. Our therapists: Maintain small caseloads Work with families in their homes and communities Schedule client sessions at times that are most helpful to families. Requirements
- Graduate or undergraduate degree in social work, psychology, human services or related field.
- Undergraduate candidates must have at least two years' experience working with children and families.
- Valid driver's license, a vehicle in good working condition, and automobile liability insurance that meets minimum agency requirements.
- Residence in Pierce County with periodic meetings in our Bremerton office.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule to meet client needs (including some evenings and weekends).
- Satisfactory completion of a criminal history background check.
- At least 21 years of age.

- Master's degree: $60,078 - $64,556 annual salary, DOE
- Bachelor's degree: $54,190 - $58,261 annual salary, DOE

- This is a non-exempt position that qualifies for overtime compensation
