About The Position
The Family Specialist is responsible for coordinating therapeutic activities for youth and families so youth can live safely, productively and independently within their home community.
Requirements
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field required. MSW preferred.
- Minimum of 1-3 yrs. of experience working with diverse youth and families.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including night and weekend hours as necessary.
- Must have a current and valid driver's license with acceptable driving history to the Agency.
- Ability to work with economically and culturally diverse population.
- Skills: Ability to handle crisis intervention in solution focused manner as well as communication skills including written, verbal and listening skills.
Nice To Haves
- MSW preferred.
