About The Position

Start up and shutdown of Denester, Scales, Tray Sealer, Metal Detector, Check Weigher, and Labeler. Basic troubleshooting of all unit ops incorporated in the packaging line Accurate completion of all Operator GFSI tasks and documentation. Provides directions to production assistants working on the Multivac line. Minimize downtime during breakdowns and changeovers. Track line KPI’s (Startup time, Ramp up time, Quality Rejects, etc.) Change film, labels, and ribbons. Stock Raw Materials after shutdown and as needed to complete production. Basic sanitation tasks, as needed, to keep equipment clean and operational. Basic troubleshooting of equipment. Communicate clearly and operate lines with a sense of urgency. Qualifications Capable of fulfilling role of a Tier 1 Packer/Sorter. Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift
Must be comfortable working in summer heat conditions and air-conditioned rooms
Must be able to work at a steady pace and must be detailed oriented
Must have a reliable form of transportation, train, bus, car, etc.
Open availability to work various work schedules including weekends if needed
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A.
