About The Position

THIS POSITION IS OPEN TO CURRENT OKDHS EMPLOYEES ONLY This position is located in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Family Services Specialist III Annual Salary: H14C $44,272.80 + Full State Employee Benefits Travel is occasional. Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain required car insurance. This is a full-time position in an office setting and will be Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Minimum Qualifications: Education and Experience requirements consist of: A master’s degree OR a bachelor’s degree and one (1) year of experience in professional social work OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one (1) year of experience in professional social work for each year of the bachelor’s degree OR three (3) years of experience as a Family Services Specialist Job Responsibilities Incumbents perform at the specialist level, where employees are designated as the lead workers or backup supervisors to lower level employees, or are responsible for carrying a complex and difficult case load. Responsibilities include assigning caseloads, providing training in caseload principles and practices, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations as well as agency policy and procedures. Some incumbents may be embedded with community partners in order to remove barriers to access. Requirements

  • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain required car insurance.
  • A master’s degree
  • A bachelor’s degree and one (1) year of experience in professional social work
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one (1) year of experience in professional social work for each year of the bachelor’s degree
  • Three (3) years of experience as a Family Services Specialist
