Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field and 1 year of experience working with children and families OR (in rural Iowa) Associate’s degree and 2 years of experience OR (in rural Iowa) 4 years combined education and experience
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (mileage reimbursed)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Certification as a Parenting Instructor
- Facilitation of family decision-making meetings
- Professional development and leadership pathways
Responsibilities
- Providing in-home support and teaching practical skills to strengthen families.
- Connecting families with community resources such as schools, healthcare, and social services.
- Offering crisis intervention and guidance when needed.
- Building strong relationships with families and collaborating with professionals like teachers, doctors, and social workers.
- Developing service plans, monitoring progress, and maintaining accurate documentation.
