About The Position
This job opportunity is for a Family Medicine physician at an FQHC in Ceres, CA, for a temporary assignment from May 2026 to August 2026, with a possibility of extension. The role involves outpatient care, managing approximately 24-29 patients per day, with administrative time included in the M-F 8 AM - 5 PM schedule. The physician will handle full scope family practice procedures and medication refills for recurring patients. The facility uses Epic EMR, requiring a 3-week training period. The patient population is predominantly Spanish-speaking and Filipino, with interpreter services and Spanish-speaking staff available.
Requirements
- Active CA license
- BC or truly BE (Board Certified or Board Eligible)
- 1-3 years of experience
- Comfortable with medication refills for patients who are not seen by them (re-occurring patients) if another MD cannot fill
- Pass a name clear process
