About The Position

The primary purpose of the Family Planning Medicaid Program Manager is to provide training, technical assistance, and consultation to local health departments and other providers around the Family Planning Medicaid Program. The person in this position: • Works collaboratively with staff of both the Women, Infant, and Community Wellness Section and the Division of Health Benefits in maximizing the utilization of the Family Planning Medicaid Program. • Manages the Family Planning Medicaid Program five-year strategic plan. • Coordinates provider recruitment activities to improve participation in the Program and health care access for beneficiaries. • Promotes and improves the participation of beneficiaries using the services of the Program. • Provides consultation and technical assistance to internal and external partners around the Program, identifying and addressing barriers to services. • Develops outreach and marketing strategies to promote the Program, including developing, organizing, and conducting trainings. • Reviews relevant data to inform activities and areas of need to focus efforts to maximize the benefits of the Program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an appropriately accredited institution and three (3) years of experience in the program related to the area of assignment; OR An equivalent combination of education and experience.
