About The Position

HCA Healthcare Trident and Summerville Hospitals are looking for an experienced Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join their established teams in Charleston, South Carolina. HCA Healthcare Summerville Hospital is a part of a 570-bed hospital tertiary-care system comprised of HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital, HCA Healthcare Summerville Hospital, and Live Oak Mental Health and Wellness. HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital is a 321-bed major medical center with a 24-hour emergency room and Level II Trauma Center HCA Healthcare Summerville Hospital is 174-bed, Acute Care hospital serving families in Dorchester, Berkley, and surrounding communities. Designated a Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center, seeking Comprehensive Stroke Designation Dedicated 10 bed Neurosurgical ICU Critical Care Services and 24/7 hospitalist and intensivist programs Proudly serving patients and families in Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester Counties for more than 40 years HCA Healthcare Summerville Hospital has invested in growing the hospital's women's and pediatric care so that families can receive high quality care close to home. In recent years HCA Healthcare Summerville Hospital has opened a new women's and neonatal tower that includes 30 postpartum private rooms, 12 labor and delivery rooms, a 6 bed Level III NICU and 7 special care nursery beds. Trident Health system consolidated all obstetric and neonatal care to one location at HCA Healthcare Summerville Hospital in 2019. In addition, HCA Healthcare Summerville Hospital offers a high risk obstetric Maternal Fetal Medicine Clinic, comprehensive breast health care at the Summerville Breast Center, and a roster of board-certified physicians specializing in women's care. Pediatric care includes a 10-bed pediatric ER, inpatient pediatric unit and pediatric intensive care unit, and pediatric subspecialty programs including general surgery, orthopedics, and gastroenterology. Requirements

• Must be board certified or board eligible in either Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Must have a South Carolina license or the ability to be licensed in South Carolina prior to starting
• Traditional Monday - Friday schedule
• Must have 3+ years of post-residency experience
• Ability to work with residents if interested
