About The Position

Kforce's client, one of NYC's most respected Real Estate owner/developer/managers, is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Associate/Administrator to join their family office. This person will be responsible for a number of accounting and banking related functions supporting the family office's diversified investment portfolio. This position offers a unique blend of accounting, legal, and operational responsibilities, providing broad exposure to private equity, estate planning, and high-net-worth financial operations.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of related financial, banking and/or accounting related experience-preferably in a family office environment
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • KYC (Know Your Customer) exposure
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile bank and investment account statements
  • Monitor and assist with processing capital call and distribution notices
  • Support the preparation, review, and organization of legal and financial documents
  • Assist in preparing annual financial reports and schedules
  • Coordinate schedules related to tax return filings
  • Assist with execution and recordkeeping of legal documents
  • Provide support for ad hoc projects
