Family Nurse Practitioner

MainStreet Family CareEvergreen, AL
Onsite

About The Position

MainStreet Family Care is growing and is looking to hire a fast, fun, and friendly Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join their team full time in Monroeville, AL. The FNP will provide patient-focused care to help patients feel better fast. Services provided include urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine. The ideal applicant will be able to lead a small team while working in a high volume and fast-paced urgent care environment. This is an incredible opportunity for FNPs early in their career, including brand new grads (even those who haven't taken boards yet). Following an on-site hosted HQ orientation and training, new hires will have several training shifts with existing providers in one of the clinics. Support continues with a complimentary pediatric urgent care CE course and an NP on-call to help with clinical decision-making as providers grow into the role. This position allows FNPs to utilize their full scope of practice, treating patients of all ages (babies, kids, adults, and geriatric patients) for a wide range of conditions, which helps keep skills sharp and makes providers marketable for future opportunities and growth. FNPs will be the medical provider in the clinic, leading a small team of medical assistants and guiding their decision-making with treatment protocols. The role also involves supporting rural communities that need access to care, as MainStreet clinics service such areas and are open 362 days a year. Most clinics qualify for state-funded tuition reimbursement grants or student loan reimbursement grants, and the company is happy to support the application process for these programs. This position is described as a two-year commitment that offers significant career growth.
