About The Position

Pinnacle Wound Management is currently seeking a wound specialist to join our network. We welcome surgeons and physicians with all specialty backgrounds. Our partnered specialist visits the patient at the nursing home and develops a comprehensive plan of care with the nursing staff.

Requirements

• Unrestricted Medical License in state of practice
• DEA
• Must pass state and federal background checks
• Basic EHR knowledge
• Team player
• Strong communication skills
• 1 year wound care experience

Nice To Haves

• Wound Care Certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Travel to each assigned nursing facility, weekly
• Assess patient and make recommendations on plan of care
• Work closely with nursing staff and facility administration
• Utilize facility formulary and follow facility protocols
• Document patient encounter in our EHR to ensure timely reporting
• Discuss treatments and goals with PCP and family members
• Procedures – Debridement’s, I & D’s, Cauterization, NPWT, etc.
