Family Medicine Physician (flexible)
About The Position
TotalCare is seeking a part-time family medicine physician. This position is ideal for physicians who are semi-retired or looking for more work-life balance. The work schedule is two days per week and can be adapted to fit individual needs. Physicians with all levels of experience are welcome. The role offers a manageable patient volume (average of 3 per hour) and eliminates clinical inbox work, as an administrative team handles all inbound patient messages, refills, and labs. Documentation is made easy through AthenaHealth, a leading EMR for ambulatory practices. The environment is collaborative and team-based, comprising 25 providers including physicians, PAs, NPs, and acupuncturists. This is an opportunity to practice medicine in an environment that values principles over rules, allowing physicians to maintain clinical knowledge and skills while enjoying work-life balance, with opportunities for extended leave for vacation.
