We are recruiting for a mission-driven Family Medicine Physician to join our team at Denver Health. Family Medicine physicians work at various clinics and locations across Denver Health. Requirements
- Doctorate Degree (Graduate of an accredited medical school)
- MD-Physician - State Medical Board Required
- BLS-Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) - AHA - American Heart Association Required
- Adequate knowledge and skill of all privileged procedures as outlined in the Denver Health and Hospital Authority Department of Family Medicine Clinical Privileges documentation.
- Computer skills required.
- No previous experience required.
Responsibilities
- Admit, evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation to patients of all ages with acute and chronic illnesses, including major and complicated, and perform procedures.
- Provide preventative and therapeutic care for patients of all ages. This includes admitting patients, providing preventative care, acute care, prenatal care, injury care, management of chronic illnesses, and performing procedures.
- May provide guidance to staff in providing care for patients in ambulatory or inpatient setting.
