About The Position
Valley Medical Group, an independent, primary care-based multi-specialty group and training partner of Baystate Medical Center in Western Massachusetts, has openings for board-certified or eligible family medicine physicians interested in primary care in our offices in Amherst, Easthampton, Northampton and Greenfield. This is a rare opportunity to join a financially stable practice with the ability to become a shareholder and have the option to teach family medicine residents. About the Position: See an average of 18–20 patients per day Light shared call from home A dedicated Medical Assistant per physician 5 Weeks PTO + paid holidays Shareholder status after two years Flexible schedule Triage nurses to help manage portal messages Behavioral health practitioners integrated into primary care Dedicated, experienced physician mentors Comprehensive benefit package Additional stipend for teaching advanced practitioners and residents if desired Clinical academic appointment to UMass Strong, on-site behavioral health team Onsite lab, mammography, physical and occupational therapy Full and part-time opportunities AI supported documentation with approx. 75% reduction in note time Opportunity to develop special professional interests Leadership opportunities
Requirements
- Board-certified or eligible in Internal Medicine or Med/Ped
- Desire to be part of a self-governing organization
- Ties to or a desire to settle in rural New England
