UNC Family Medicine at Southpoint is hiring an APP (PA/FNP)! UNC Family Medicine at Southpoint offers the full spectrum of family-centered medical care. In addition to preventative services, they offer a wide range of acute care and in-office procedures at convenient times for families and working professionals. Services: · Adult and geriatric care · Bone health · Cardiac care · Cholesterol management · In-office procedures · Diabetic care and education · Gynecological and obstetrical care · Prenatal care · Preventative medicine · Sick visits · Well-child visits · Asthma management Practice Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm Tuesday, Thursday 7:00am - 5:00pm Position Qualifications : Family Medicine APP Licensed in North Carolina 2-plus years of experience UNC Physicians Network (UNCPN) includes primary care physicians, as well as physicians in a wide range of specialties and sub-specialties. Requirements
- Family Medicine APP
- Licensed in North Carolina
- 2-plus years of experience
- Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.
- Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant) in the state of North Carolina.
- Board certification if required by the Department. DEA.
- Demonstrated clinical competency.
- Effective leadership skills. Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills.
- Effective interaction to ensure the successful care of patients in the clinical setting.
- Documentation in the medical record to substantiate accurate billing.
