About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney with 4+ years of practice representing clients in a broad range of family law matters. This role is ideal for an attorney who is comfortable handling complex, contested matters and is eager to be actively involved in litigation.

Requirements

• 4+ years of meaningful family law experience
• Strong litigation and courtroom experience
• Admission to practice in Maryland and Washington, DC (Virginia admission a plus)
• Ability and willingness to appear in court
• Strong organizational, communication, and client-management skills

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in family law matters including separation, divorce, custody, spousal support, child support, and division of marital property
• Manage contested custody cases and divorce matters from inception through resolution
• Handle motion hearings, discovery, negotiations, and trial preparation
• Maintain and manage a high-volume caseload
• Appear in court regularly and advocate effectively on behalf of clients
