About The Position

At Hembree Bell Law, we help families navigate some of the most difficult moments of their lives with clarity, compassion, and strength. We are currently seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who is confident in Texas family law litigation, values client care, and wants to work in a supportive, high-performing environment. We need an experienced divorce and family law paralegal (in-person, hybrid, or remote) who can hit the ground running alongside our stellar team. From strategy meetings to post-judgment client care, you’ll blend sharp technical skills with empathy and practical wisdom to help families navigate divorce and custody disputes. This isn’t an entry-level gig. You’ll need 3+ years in family law litigation, confidence with contested matters, and the sense to know when a fight isn’t worth the cost (because yes, $500 in attorney’s fees over $50 in airline miles really does happen). Requirements

A seasoned paralegal with 3+ years of family law litigation experience.
Practical, empathetic, and client-focused.
Someone who thrives in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.
Definitely not burned-out, bitter, or humorless.

Responsibilities

Shape and support case strategies with discovery, pleadings, motions, and mediation prep.
Be a “dealmaker” — helping families resolve disputes creatively, outside the courtroom.
Project confidence and competence in contested cases while keeping clients calm and informed.
Embody our vibe: serious work without taking ourselves too seriously.
