Family Law Paralegal
About The Position
We're looking for an experienced paralegal to play an important role in our legal team. The paralegal will assist in matters involving child custody and divorce with assignments delegated to them by their supervising attorneys. We are growing fast, and we need a paralegal who can hit the ground running. The ideal candidate will be able to take initiative on work that needs to be done and complete tasks with minimal hand-holding. This is a Full-time position willing to accommodate a flexible schedule and remote work or a hybrid position.
Requirements
- 1-2 years experience in Family Law Legal Services under an attorney in a law firm setting in California
- well versed in legal terminology, laws, judicial decisions, court jurisdictions, and procedures, and Family Law knowledge is a must
- The required knowledge and abilities to perform this function are typically attained through approximately 1-2 years of experience performing work in the Family Law Field
- The ability to work with little supervision
- Computer Literate and Tech Savvy
