About The Position

Atlanta Family Law Group LLC is a litigation-focused family law firm seeking a motivated associate who wants meaningful courtroom exposure and structured professional growth. This role is designed for an attorney who wants to develop strong litigation skills within a high-functioning team environment. You will manage an active caseload with administrative and paralegal support, clear expectations, and a defined path for increased responsibility based on performance. Manage a structured docket of family law matters (divorce, custody, support, modifications, legitimation, TPOs, etc.) Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement proposals Prepare financial affidavits and parenting plans Participate in mediations and hearings Appear in court independently as experience and performance allow Maintain consistent client communication and strategic case planning Collaborate closely with paralegals and support staff to move cases efficiently

Requirements

• Georgia Bar license in good standing
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Ability to manage multiple active matters simultaneously
• Professional communication skills under pressure

Nice To Haves

• Prior family law experience
• Courtroom or evidentiary hearing exposure
• Internship or clerkship in domestic relations
