About The Position

Stafford Rosenbaum is seeking a legal assistant/paralegal with a minimum of 2 years of experience in family law to join the Madison office. This position is responsible for preparing draft motions, pleadings, judgments, statements, documents, other correspondence and conducting legal research. Will prepare trial notebooks and aid in trial settings as well as prepare and review discovery packages, including disclosure statements, answers to interrogatories and productions request. Position is responsible for being a liaison between the client and attorney, and reviewing pre-bills, completing conflict checks and other administrative tasks as a part of the position. Requirements This position requires advanced knowledge of family law, including divorce, child support, and custody. The qualified candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, meticulous detail-orientated and is highly organized. Experience with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to utilize various digital legal platforms is a must. This is a full-time, Monday – Friday position with the option for hybrid (at least 3 days in office).
