About The Position

A fun and active family is seeking a fantastic family assistant to help with their home and three daughters, ages 9 (twins) and 13. The weekly schedule is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week guaranteed. The standard working hours are 11am-7pm, but candidates must be flexible for changes, particularly during sports seasons when games run later, or during school breaks. The family enjoys open communication and team work to keep the home running smoothly. This position can be five-day live-in or live-out- the live-in accommodations are a separate space with kitchen, and the family is looking for someone who has their own home to return to on weekends.

Requirements

• US work authorization
• Driver's license- a car will be provided for work use
• Comfortable working around and with a small dog
• Strong swimmer- there is a pool on the property
• Tech-savvy and comfortable with shared calendars and spreadsheets
• Excellent team player- the family employs a house manager and several housekeepers, and teamwork is essential
• Proactive and organized- this person should be able to see what needs to be done in the home, and complete tasks independently
• Caring and warm with children
• Positive, with a sunny disposition

Responsibilities

• Manage household schedules, appointments, and travel logistics
• Maintain household spreadsheets for upkeep, repairs, and maintenance
• Keep task lists for both interior and exterior household needs
• Run errands and keep household/kitchen supplies stocked
• Track expenses, manage returns, and organize receipts
• Support occasional event/party planning
• Help coordinate family activities, holidays, and travel plans
• Organize household projects and assist with gift wrapping
• Provide occasional pet care and pet sitting
• Homework oversight and academic support
• Shopping for and organizing children’s clothing
• Planning and supervising engaging activities and outings
• Preparing healthy snacks and encouraging follow-through on chores
• Occasional overnight stays when parents are traveling
