About The Position

A busy, well-organized family based in Downtown Los Angeles, California is seeking an experienced and highly reliable House Manager / Nanny hybrid to support their household and three children, ages 4, 7, and 10 . The family is looking for someone who can confidently manage both childcare and household operations , ensuring the home runs smoothly while also providing structured, engaging afternoon care for the children. This is a great opportunity for a professional who enjoys balancing organization, logistics, and hands-on childcare in a fast-paced but warm household environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3–5+ years of experience in nanny and/or family assistant roles
  • Strong experience in house management or household operations preferred
  • Experience caring for multiple school-aged children
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Reliable transportation to position
  • CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
  • Minimum age 21 years old
  • Fully vaccinated
  • Non-smoker
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to pass comprehensive background and reference checks
  • Must be willing to commit to a minimum of 2 years

Responsibilities

  • School pick-ups and transportation to activities
  • Supervision of after-school routines and homework support
  • Planning engaging activities, playdates, and enrichment time
  • Preparing after-school snacks and simple meals
  • Supporting emotional regulation and positive behavior guidance
  • Coordinating children’s schedules and extracurricular activities
  • Overseeing daily household operations and afternoon flow
  • Coordinating vendors, maintenance, and household appointments
  • Managing household supplies, grocery ordering, and inventory
  • Meal planning and coordination for family dinners
  • Organizing family calendars and scheduling logistics
  • Ensuring household organization and smooth daily transitions
  • Daily errands (dry cleaning, grocery pickup, returns, etc.)
  • Family travel and vacation planning
