Family Advocate
About The Position
Willamette Family is looking for someone to fill the role of Family Advocate. Family Advocates serve as a part of a wraparound service for families in services with Willamette Family. The Family Service Program utilizes a Strength-Needs-based approach that fully engages each client in the determination of their needs, development of specific case plans and services, and in their implementation to achieve successful outcomes. About the agency: Willamette Family is a longstanding substance use treatment and behavioral healthcare provider that strives to support our community. Willamette Family was recently accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA), noting that we meet or exceed the national standards for excellence in behavioral healthcare
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a related field: Equivalent is based on the following: CADC I, QMHA qualified with 3 years experience, Associates Degree, with 3 years experience.
- Currently qualified or able to become qualified as a QMHA with MHACBO
- Knowledge and experience in working with families using a strength-based approach
- Experience with electronic health record systems and other technologies
- Background Check
- Pre-employment Drug Screening (including Cannabis/THC)
