About The Position

The Fall Intern, Office Assistant position provides basic clerical support, performs various office tasks, and offers general customer service within the assigned department or external organization. The intern will assist with departmental assignments, support departmental projects, and help deliver excellent customer service. The role may involve completing departmental tracking and reporting, interacting effectively with colleagues, clients, and leadership, and performing other duties as assigned. Additionally, the intern may develop and apply Career Readiness Competencies including critical thinking, problem solving, communication, teamwork, digital technology, leadership, professionalism, career management, and global intercultural fluency.

Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in Tri-C
  • Declared major on record
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.00 or higher
  • May require a specific major in relevant field and/or relevant completed coursework
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must complete a Summer Internship Application, and Confidentiality and Nondisclosure Statement
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check and/or drug testing
  • Must be enrolled during Summer Semester, and must have plans to register for classes in Fall Semester at Tri-C
