About The Position

As a Faculty Professor, you will provide exceptional leadership in education, research, and service, profoundly impacting the intellectual growth of students and advancing knowledge in your field. Every day you will expertly deliver engaging instruction, conduct rigorous research leading to significant contributions, mentor students and junior faculty, and meticulously engage in service activities, contributing to the academic mission and scholarly excellence. To be successful, you will demonstrate outstanding command of your discipline, strong pedagogical skills, and a collaborative, innovative demeanor, contributing to a vibrant academic community and the development of future leaders Supports collaboration and cooperation and respect for all. Acts as a resource and role model for students, postdoctoral trainees, research technicians or nurses, and fellow faculty, and interacts positively with support and administrative staff. Recognized internationally as a leader in the relevant field of endeavor. Contributes to administrative oversight and provides constructive ideas for improvement of the research and/or clinical enterprise and perhaps of the broader institution. Successfully mentors and supervises technical personnel and trainees. Assists junior faculty members and trainees in the development of their careers.

Requirements

• Doctorate Ph.D., M.D. or D.Sc. degree or equivalent in a relevant field of endeavor
• Ten years or equivalent of faculty-levelexperience following the Ph.D., M.D. or D.SC. degree in a field related to current area of research, upon hire

• Postdoctoral training as a research fellow
• Success writing grant applications for support of own and collaborative work and supervising laboratory technicians,graduate students, postdoctoral fellowsand/or junior faculty, upon hire
• Laboratory personnel supervisory experience
