About The Position

The Department of Biostatistics at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital invites applications for multiple faculty positions at any rank [Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or Full Member (equivalent to Professor)], depending on qualifications and experience. We are seeking exceptional candidates from diverse fields of statistical research. However, we are incredibly enthusiastic about candidates with a demonstrated background in collaborative research, along with a keen interest in study design, execution, and analysis of both therapeutic and non-therapeutic interventional trials, as well as observational studies, with applications in cancer and neurological disorders. Our ideal candidate will be strongly dedicated to engaging in statistical collaborations with medical and basic science investigators. Effective communication skills are paramount, as the role will require seamless interaction with interdisciplinary teams. Furthermore, we are looking for individuals enthusiastic about pursuing independent methodological research. We offer a highly competitive compensation package and a comprehensive benefits package, all commensurate with the level of experience and expertise. The department currently has 80 employees, including 16 faculty, seven post-doctoral fellows, and 36 staff biostatisticians/bioinformaticians.
