About The Position

The Zuckerberg College of Health Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Lowell is searching for a part-time adjunct instructor to teach in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Teaching opportunities are available in the Spring 2026 semester. We seek candidates with expertise in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and acute care.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Physical Therapy, Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree preferred
• At least 2 years in acute care and/or cardiopulmonary physical therapy
• Physical therapy license in Massachusetts (current)
• The ability to work effectively with diverse student, faculty, and staff populations

Nice To Haves

• Candidates with a DPT or higher degree will be given priority
• Previous teaching expertise at the university/college level is desirable
• Previous clinical education supervision is desirable
• Willingness to grow and learn with our UML Physical Therapy and Kinesiology community
• Doctor of Physical Therapy degree, experience with classroom teaching
