About The Position

The Division of Nephrology Medicine is seeking a dynamic and accomplished researcher to join our esteemed faculty. The successful candidate will have a robust track record in Nephrology research. In addition to research responsibilities, the role involves active engagement in teaching and mentoring. The candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of Nephrology specialists through lectures, seminars, and hands-on training. This position also includes opportunities to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including clinicians, engineers, and basic scientists, fostering a synergistic approach to Nephrology research. Responsibilities

• Writing and publishing research in high quality peer reviewed, scientific journals
• Attending and making presentations of research at national and international scientific conferences
• Developing national and international scholarly reputation
• Instructing and mentoring junior scientists, doctoral and postdoctoral students, medical students, residents and fellow trainees
• Participating in department, college and university committees and initiatives
• Conceptualizing, planning, designing, implementing and conducts research studies in the area of Nephrology medicine
• Developing and writes grant proposals to seek and obtain funding to support research program
• Obtaining and maintaining NIH RO1 or equivalent funding
