UT Tyler School of Medicine - UT Health East Texas is searching for a full-time Faculty BE/BC OB/GYN physician to join the established clinic in Athens, TX. About the Position: Current team is 1 OBG; 9 Family Practitioners also practicing OB Market calls for 1,000 deliveries annually DaVinci GYN surgery available Excellent communication skills, bilingual (preferred) Team oriented and motivated by the opportunity to contribute to a growing academic environment 20-25 patients per day Monday-Thursday FT--Friday 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. 50% Outpatient/ 50% Inpatient A 15-bed, Level I nursery, if needed A dedicated surgery suite for cesarean sections Eight private postpartum rooms Epidural pain management Interpreters and/or language access services Lactation education Live online birthing classes Nine large labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum (LDRP) rooms Smart Technology: See more patients without extending your day.
