About The Position

Positions Location: Lansing, MI Job Requirements General Requirements Eligible for Board Certification within five (5) years of completing an accredited residency program Education MD or DO Specialized Knowledge and Skills Demonstrates ability to use a keyboard as may be required to perform the essential duties of the job. The University of Michigan Health - Sparrow is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated full-time BC/BE OB/GYN Physician to join their OB/GYN Residency Practice located in Lansing, Michigan. Preferred Requirements: Five years of post-residency experience with commensurate clinical skills representing the general practice of Obstetrics and Gynecology Interest in resident education and scholarly activity with prior experience as a residency faculty member Robotic surgery certification and experience Responsibilities: Direct supervision of resident physicians in the outpatient setting, labor and delivery, and operating room Rotating Clinical shifts as Laborist, Clinic Attending, Gynecologic Surgeon, and Hospital GYN/Laborist backup Didactic teaching, resident mentoring, committee participation, and scholarly activity as outlined by the ACGME Position is hospital-employed and offers: Excellent compensation and benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage Relocation assistance, 401(k) with matching funds, generous CME benefits Malpractice insurance Equal Opportunity Employer: The University of Michigan Health - Sparrow is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
