About The Position
Kent State University Geauga and Twinsburg Academic Center is seeking candidates for a non-tenure track faculty position to teach undergraduate medical-surgical nursing in an ACEN (Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing) accredited associate degree nursing program at the Twinsburg Academic Center.
Requirements
- Current, active licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio.
- Master of Science degree in Nursing from an accredited/approved nursing program.
- Two years of nursing experience.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialty in medical-surgical or adult nursing care.
- Previous undergraduate teaching experience preferred.
- Experience in nursing education or advanced medical-surgical nursing.
Responsibilities
- Teach in a variety of settings, including lectures, clinicals, skill and simulation labs in medical-surgical nursing in the ADN curriculum.
- Employ teaching modalities beyond in-person lectures.
