The Classics Department at Whitman College is seeking candidates for a one-year Faculty Fellow position in Classics, beginning August 2026. Area of specialization in Classics is open. Depending on the candidate’s area of specialization, the successful candidate will be able to offer courses in ancient Greek and/or Latin, as well as courses in translation that complement our current offerings. Fellows receive substantial research travel support and mentoring that fosters their growth in the classroom and in their scholarly field. Salary: $67,000 Whitman College offers a competitive benefits package that is designed to attract qualified candidates and retain talented employees.
