About The Position

As the Factory Quality Manager, we'll count on you to lead the adherence to all food safety and quality policies, procedures, and standards established by the company, as well as complying with regulations set by federal, state, and local agencies. You will drive quality assurance (QA) strategies throughout the factory and proactively identify opportunities to continuously improve and generate exceptional results. In this critical leadership role, you'll engage, empower, and supervise the QA department and ensure all manufacturing quality standards are met or exceeded.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology or related scientific discipline
• 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience in manufacturing, production, military or related environment
• 2+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing, production, military or related environment

Nice To Haves

• Food manufacturing experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage strategic planning and daily operation of the factory QA department
• Coach, develop, and mentor the QA team
• Lead the internal and external factory audit programs to verify adherence to certification standards, regulatory requirements, product and process specifications
• Review, maintain, and enhance factory QA resources to support personnel training and competency development, food safety, and quality management systems
• Adhere to ISO requirements and continually monitor external standards to inform internal strategy
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistent application of quality standards
• Drive the quality pillar in support of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) for the factory
