Requirements

• The Facility Technician will comply with all federal, state, local laws, and regulations as well as the Employer’s safety policies and directives.
• In a safe manner Facility Technicians will perform the following skilled and technical duties and directives in a safe and efficient manner

Nice To Haves

• Associates Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Electrical, HVAC, or related field.
• OSHA 10

Responsibilities

• Perform facility rounds on equipment and maintains all mechanical, HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems, and equipment.
• Repairs and replaces toilet and water closet components, sinks, faucets, soap dispensers, and paper towel dispensers.
• Repairs and replaces tile and grout, as appropriate.
• Maintains lighting fixtures by replacing lights, ballasts, drivers, etc.
• Replace carpet squares as required by the facility.
• Operate and maintain water supply lines, drains, water lines, control devices, and sprinkler systems.
• Operate and maintain safety related equipment.
• Maintains and repairs the physical condition of mechanical, and facility shop spaces.
• Paints and patches drywall as appropriate.
