About The Position

The Facility Technician I for Cranston, RI is responsible for completing all assigned warehouse duties in a safe and responsible manner, including bulk liquid transfers of incoming and outbound trucks and railcars of waste shipments, reconciling inventory, general housekeeping, and compliance with waste storage. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • 1+ Years of related experience
  • Ability to use computer
  • Ability to lift 50 or more pounds

Nice To Haves

  • Fork lift experience preferred (Not Required)

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
  • Load and unload route trucks
  • Prepare waste loads for shipment to Recycle Center/Distribution Center
  • Manage inventory order and receiving process
  • General housekeeping and keeping a clean work area
  • Ensure waste is stored in safe and proper manner
