About The Position

EMCOR Facilities Services has an immediate opening for a Facility Supervisor at our client site in Lake Forest, IL. The Facility Supervisor will be responsible for facility maintenance service delivery and relationships as well as supporting projects and the facilities team. In addition to managing the Services this position supervises, and coordinates activities of contractors engaged in maintenance and for projects.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of general maintenance experience in a commercial maintenance environment
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a maintenance lead or supervisor
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, E-mail and other software required
  • A valid state driver’s license in good standing is preferred

Nice To Haves

  • College degree preferred or equivalent
  • Experience working with CMMS systems highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Administers the CMMS system, including work orders, and KPI’s
  • Interprets company & client policies and procedures to workers and enforces
  • Recommends measures to improve productivity and quality of service
  • Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems
  • Coaches and develops associates, documenting when necessary.
  • Conducts annual performance reviews with the maintenance technicians
  • Generates and closes site work orders ensuring all data is correct and meets account standards
  • Communicates in person with client and through correspondence to determine needs, handle issues and suggest improvements
  • Interfaces with Vendors to ensure protocol is followed
  • Assist Property Managers in project coordination
  • Manage PM and inspection work orders
  • Conduct building inspections and recommend improvements and identify safety concerns
  • Is on call and available for emergencies
  • Follows EMCOR Culture Statement and drives the culture to entire organization
  • Required to be onsite, this is not a remote position
  • Assist with event support
  • Any other duties as assigned
