About The Position

The incumbent will supervise the operation of the maintenance shops and carpentry shop, requisitioning of supplies, controlling of equipment/supplies/inventories and related transactions. Inspect Foreman and MR2 work. Monitor all service work utilizing Reports through to completion/acceptance. Assign and supervise use of automotive equipment. Additionally, the applicant will Supervise four (4) Foremen and oversee a total of 23 people. Perform related administrative duties as required.

Requirements

  • Two years of experience as a Facility Operations Manager 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
  • Three years of experience as a Building Maintenance Foreman (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
  • Five years of experience performing skilled trades work in commercial or industrial buildings which includes three years of supervisory experience overseeing skilled trades work in commercial or industrial buildings, or utility plant operations
  • Possession of a valid Class C driver's license
  • Must meet the PA residency requirement
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions
  • Must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code. Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
