About The Position

Responsible for maintaining lobby, offices and general school cleanliness, while compliant with federal and state guidelines.

Requirements

  • Possesses High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Possesses relevant extensive experience in facilities maintenance
  • Recognizes and solves problems

Responsibilities

  • Ability to follow directions of the Campus Director as well as management staff in accordance with assigned work duties and daily/weekly checklists.
  • Follow all safety standards and training guidelines
  • Maintain and secure doors/entrances as instructed
  • Keep building, furniture, equipment, and school property, as well as outside grounds to an acceptable level of cleanliness.
  • Maintain and operate equipment, such as floor buffers, mops and vacuums to achieve acceptable level of cleanliness.
  • Discarding trash and/or boxes, empting trash receptacles daily
  • Submit list of cleaning items as well as needed supplies in a timely manner
  • Make minor repairs as needed
  • Assemble items and small equipment
  • Report to Management or Director any needed repairs and/or safety concerns
  • Maintenance care for custodial equipment and instruction for proper usage
  • Ability to independently arrange and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to perform outside labor to include, but not limited to minimal up keep of school grounds
  • Ability to maintain prolonged standing/walking as shifts require
  • Willingness to assist with physical lifting as requested/needed
  • To perform other duties as assigned
