About The Position

The Facility Maintenance Technician is a skilled worker in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining all components of plant process equipment, HVAC systems and complex hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred or OR minimum 5 years proven working experience
Valid driver’s license
Provide some personal tools/list available on request
Must be able to work in adverse/inclement weather conditions

Nice To Haves

HVAC certification or experience is a plus
Electrical and instrumentation experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

Performs maintenance/repairs/troubleshooting and installation on the following process plant equipment, but not limited to: pumps, motors, gear drives, shredders and other rotating equipment with an emphasis on seals, bearings and mechanical seals
Removal and installation of process valves
Metal fabrication and welding skills are a plus
Must be proficient in the installation and fabrication of process piping systems, pertaining to threading, welding and soldering.
When instructed - you will be required to clean, paint and perform labor work
Additional work related to buildings and ground maintenance
Local travel required
Other duties as assigned
