Facility Maintenance Technician

Mercury Electronics has a challenging opportunity available for a motivated Facility Maintenance Technician. Under the general direction of the Senior Manufacturing Specialist, the Facility Maintenance Technician will be responsible for routine building maintenance as well as additional mechanical tasks as needed. Mercury Electronics is a dynamic and fast-growing contract manufacturer with over 80 years of experience producing high-quality cable assemblies, wiring harnesses, control panels, electromechanical assemblies, and sub-assemblies. Responsibilities
- Inspect buildings and other structures to determine functional systems and detect malfunctions and needed repair
- Perform minor electrical maintenance to include but not be limited to replacement or repair or fixtures
- Perform minor plumbing maintenance
- Perform minor painting, carpentry and masonry work
- Reconfigures installs, positions and remounts modular offices and space
- Prepare the surfaces and paints various structures and equipment
- May be required to use company vehicles to pick up parts as needed for projects
