About The Position
The Autism Society of North Carolina is seeking to hire Facility Maintenance Technicians. This hourly, in-person position will support the general oversight of our Camp facilities and grounds, focusing on maintenance, at our Moncure location. Medical, dental, disability and other benefits, including paid time off, will depend on the employment status (full time or part time) you are hired in as.
Requirements
- Relevant experience and/or degree preferred.
- Will be required to obtain the following certifications within 6 months of employment: CPR and First Aid, Pool Operator Certification and possibly Lifeguard Certification.
Nice To Haves
- Autism experience a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs of buildings, camp vehicles and grounds.
- Oversee aspects of pool operations and maintenance, pre-summer season and year-round.
- Help manage well water and septic operations
- Assist with volunteer workdays
