What Drives Success The individual in this role will lead highly complex repairs, modifications, and preventive maintenance for building and facility equipment, fixtures, and systems unique to a research & development facility. Duties include, but are not limited to: Repairs in the areas of carpentry, painting, plastering, and plumbing. Repairs or replaces defective Facilities & Test Room/Equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassembles equipment. Inspections of power transmission drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance actions, following checklists. Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery, and equipment. Leads Request Maintenance & Capital Project modifications. Provides mentorship and technical skill directions over lower-level maintenance RFMTs. Distributes work assignments to team members. Plan, execute & manage small capital projects. Performs rigging/millwright moving, lifting, and placement of large facility equipment. Proficient knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Proficient knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of, buildings, or other structures. Expert knowledge of design techniques, tools, blueprints, drawings, and models. Expert knowledge to diagnose, troubleshoot, problem solve & repair. Uses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. What We Offer Compensation : This is a salaried non-exempt role. This means employees are paid a salary and receive overtime pay for hours worked in excess of 40 per week (or as otherwise required by state law). The starting salary range for this role in this market is $76,800 to $ 100,800 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography and market, as well as the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan.
